Sakura Cross Hotel Ueno Iriya - Tokyo

Bed was great, had down pillows. Comfortable and peaceful location, just what we wanted close enough to Uguisudani station on the Yamanote line and the residential area with local supermarkets and the metro and 20 minutes by walk to ueno park. Had a nice coffee at Starbucks, located 15 minutes walk away.

Great value for money, spacious room like a studio apartment, comfortable bed, and excellent facilities. The location was convenient with easy access to train stations and plenty of convenient stores nearby. The staff, especially Kina, were kind and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety and options.

Felt safe, nothing too much trouble.

We stayed in the split-level apartment on the top floor. This is about as big a place as you can hope to get in Tokyo at this price point within a 10-minute walk of the Yamanote Line. We were a family of 4 and were able to configure three separate sleeping areas for people who needed warmer or colder spaces. The air conditioning was forceful and much appreciated. You are a very short walk away from a couple of 24-hour convenience stores and a 24-hour laundromat. These were invaluable to us during our stay. There are also some nice restaurants in the neighborhood.

The hotel was absolutely amazing, with clean and comfortable rooms that exceeded my expectations. The staff, especially Kina, were super helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay extraordinary. They even carried our heavy luggage and provided us with an extra umbrella in the rain! The location was perfect, just a short walk to both the metro and JR stations, as well as convenient stores and a coin laundry. The bathroom was nice, the TV and WiFi were great, and the beds and pillows were incredibly cozy. The check-in process was simple and the room was exactly like the pictures. It's a shame we only stayed for one night because everything about this place was mind-blowing. The neighborhood was also quiet, adding to the peacefulness of our stay. The room comfortably accommodated four people, making it a perfect choice for groups. our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to come back in the future!

No elevator in the building, which can be inconvenient for guests carrying heavy luggage. Lack of kitchen facilities and limited access to power outlets in the room.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the location was perfect, very close to Ueno park and within walking distance to various tourist attractions. the room was comfortable and clean, with soft beds and a modern bathroom. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed for a great stay. the hotel also offered a portable WiFi, which was a big bonus for us. we were very impressed with the facilities and room advantages.

The thin walls allowed some noise from neighboring rooms to disturb us at night.
